Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.

In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got a new contender in the world of aluminium luggage, a tonal celebration from New Balance, G-SHOCK’s answer to the Pepsi GMT watch, and more.

Carl Friedrik Aluminium Carry-On

good finds Carl Friedrik Aluminium Carry-On

It’s not often you spot a genuinely eye-catching piece of luggage, but that’s exactly what we’ve got with Carl Friedrik’s all-new Aluminium Carry-On suitcase. It’s the brand’s first foray into aluminium luggage-making, arriving with a nod to the golden era of mid-century travel via its steel rivets and clean groove lines.

Forged from anodised aluminium and designed for a lifetime of journeys, Carl Friedrik’s Aluminium Carry-on nods to the golden era of mid-century travel through its steel rivets and clean groove lines. Crafted from a specially formulated aluminium alloy with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, it features TSA-approved combination locks and steel-reinforced corners, wheels, and hinges that’ll make sure your belongings arrive safely after every flight.

Luxurious, refined, and built to ast the trends, it’s the kind of carry-on that feels more like a long-term investment.

Dyson New Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer

Recently, I was travelling for work and, upon dropping my bags, realised my room didn’t have a hairdryer. A call to reception revealed they didn’t have any spares, and while I don’t use a hairdryer on a daily basis, when you’re on the move and in a rush, it’s a good thing to have on hand.

As a result, Dyson’s new Supersonic Travel hair dryer is worth including this week as it’s 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the full-size Supersonic, making it perfect for just about any work trip. I could do with a few more colour options, but when you’ve got a meeting in 30 minutes, and you haven’t put your shoes on yet, that’s the last thing you should be thinking about.

New Balance Grey Days

New Balance Grey Days

Hermès has orange, Cadbury has purple, and for New Balance, it’s all about grey. What kicked off in the ’80s as a practical choice for runners navigating the concrete jungle has since become one of the brand’s most quietly powerful signatures, and Grey Days is the annual celebration that proves it.

The month-long tribute brings together a cast of ambassadors, including Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Darius Garland, Marvin Harrison Jr., Andrew Reynolds, Aminé, and Quincy Wilson, as well as special edition products and immersive experiences everywhere. The Grey Shop launches on May 1 and continues until May 22 with a suite of ABZORB drops and plenty more.

Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 Headphones

Bowers & Wilkins has just expanded its flagship Px8 S2 over-ear headphone line-up with two spectacular new finishes: Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue. They’re both trimmed in Nappa leather and aluminium detailing, and join the existing colour range of Onyx Black, Warm Stone, and the McLaren Edition.

If you’re after a set of headphones that look as good as they sound, these should be on your list of considerations.

Coca-Cola x G-SHOCK

G-Shock is celebrating 140 years of Coca-Cola with the all-new GA-2100CC-3A collaboration – and from the pictures we’ve seen, it’s gotta be the coolest link-up since Seiko and Pepsi.

Instead of the full red-and-white logo treatment, the bezel and band pull from the green-tinted glass of Coke’s iconic contour bottle, giving the CasiOak silhouette a surprisingly refined feel.

Coca-Cola x G-SHOCK

On closer inspection, you’ll notice details like a bottle-shaped day indicator at 9 o’clock, a fluted glass bottle on the strap, a bubble-textured dial, and a bottle-cap engraving on the caseback. Cased in bio-based resin, it’s got Carbon Core Guard construction, 200-metre water resistance, and weighs in at just 51g.
