Nedd’s Story

Since announcing his attempt to run across Australia back in April, Nedd Brockmann had our attention. Boss Hunting is privileged to be supporting the great man, and Sydney local, for this momentous effort, running roughly 100 kilometres a day, for 40 days, to set the record for running from Perth’s Cottesloe Beach to Sydney’s Bondi.

No stranger to immense running accomplishments, the previously under-the-radar Nedd wowed the Australian running community by clocking 50 marathons in 50 days – all while working his day job as a sparky. Unable to contain his lofty ambitions and never give up mindset, he quickly began conceptualizing his next endeavor. Hailing from Forbes in Western NSW, Nedd was shocked by the amount of homelessness on Sydney’s streets when he arrived after school and supported those in need with food, clothing, and company whenever he could. Ultimately it was his desire to raise $1 million for ‘We Are Mobilise’ that brought Nedd’s Record Run to life.

Alongside his goal to raise $1m to battle homelessness, his lead sponsor Puma has helped him launch Lessgo A Million Challenge, challenging Australians to move 1 million kilometers while Nedd attempts to break the World Record. You can join the challenge at Running Heros below.
