Australia’s Premier Red Wine Festival, Pinot Palooza, Returns This October

With over a decade of the event under their belt, Revel is planning on bringing back the popular Pinot Palooza wine festival with a 2023 east coast tour stopping by Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. With dates pencilled in for October weekends, the popular celebration of red wine – with one particular varietal in mind.

Pinot Palooza 2023 comes off the back of a successful global expansion for the Melbourne-born event. Reportedly, Revel was able to sell around 65,000 tickets globally at one stage, making it one of the most popular small-scale wine festivals in the world, typically stretched across two days with numerous sessions on each.

Details regarding what winemakers will be on the line-up have not been revealed yet. Revel has only marked down official dates so attendees can start planning ahead with tickets on sale in May.

However, going off last year, there should be a decent amount of labels from Australia, New Zealand and other Pinot-making hotspots around the world. In 2022, Pinot Palooza comprised 70 winemakers, each setting up stalls so attendees won’t have to walk far to put together a wine crawl of their own.

Revel, which is also involved in a new three-day cheese festival called Mould, has revealed the following dates for Pinot Palooza 2023.

Friday, October 13: Saturday, October 14: Brisbane
Friday, October 27: Saturday, October 28: Melbourne
