Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.

In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got the Yamaha CrossWave WaveRunner, The North Face x Aime Leon Dore’s winter collaboration, QT Hotels’ Pup Yeah! packages, and plenty more.

Yamaha CrossWave WaveRunner

This dude-coded innovation of all dude-codes innovations is precisely what it looks like: a hybrid personal watercraft that’s somewhere between a jet ski and a tinny.

Promising “unprecedented size, versatility, and range,” as well as the largest fuel capacity in its class, the Yamaha CrossWave WaveRunner is essentially your ticket to escape from all the everyday BS and into the loving embrace of aquatic leisure. Whether your vice involves actually reeling in fish or catching SFA but crushing a couple of Victor Bravos under the sun (keep that BAC under 0.05), this bad boy is up for the job.

Measuring approximately 13 feet by five feet with a generous walk-around marine-matted deck, the CrossWave WaveRunner is capable of carrying up to four passengers with removable third and fourth seats, and also notably features the following:

  • Rod storage compartment
  • Dual touchscreen displays w/ 7″ Simrad NSX chartplotter & fishfinder
  • 8″ footwell speakers w/ Bluetooth
  • Anchor locker (found in bow)
  • 1.9L High Output Marine Engine

Yamaha’s CrossWave WaveRunner apparently hits US shores in “Spring 2026.” Standby for updates on Aussie availabilities, confirmed pricing, and a non-Freedom Unit arrival date.

The North Face x Aime Leon Dore

While we’re (hopefully) making a proper exit from a dreary winter here in Australia, on the other side of the world, they’re about to rug up for the big chill. Hence, this six-piece collaborative collection spans reimaginings of the Nuptse Jackets in Casentino wool and leather Verto Alpine Shoes.

According to David Whetstone, The North Face’s Director of Global Collaborations & Energy: “Our collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore inspired us to reimagine iconic The North Face pieces originally born on the mountain.”

“We’ve elevated classics like the Nuptse, Denali, Borealis, and Verto with pinnacle materialisations like Casentino Wool, Leather, and Ballistic Nylon, which have unlocked a new depth of colour within our Summit Gold, The North Face Blue, and Evergreen iconic colours. Aimé Leon Dore’s focused point of view enhanced these icons from our DNA with careful consideration.”

Other highlights include a matching hat for the Nuptse jacket in Casentino wool with a weatherproof ratinatura treatment, a windproof Denali Jacket in all-nylon (also paired with a matching hat), a Firefighter Jacket featuring three-layer waterproof technology, D-rings on the sleeves, and durable ballistic nylon overlays; plus the Nylon Borealis Backpack and Leather North Dome Rope Bag.

The North Face x Aime Leon Dore collection officially launches on September 19th via select global stores and online retail sites.

The Bespoke Corner x Woodford Reserve Traxedo

On the subject of winter threads, luxury tailor Miles Wharton of The Bespoke Corner has teamed up with Woodford Reserve to unveil Australia’s first-ever Traxedo (“A tuxedo tracksuit designed for stylish nights in”).

“Partnering with Woodford Reserve felt like a natural fit: it’s a brand that shares our appreciation for craftsmanship, quiet luxury, and the simple pleasure of a night well spent,” said Wharton himself.

This one-of-a-kind and limited-edition collector’s item, also specifically designed for the colder months, marries the precision of couture tailoring with the comfort of loungewear. Crafted from ultra-soft, whisky-hued Dormeuil fabric, it’s exclusively available via made-to-measure appointments at The Bespoke Corner’s Sydney and Melbourne boutiques.

Customers also receive a bespoke gift bag featuring a Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned Cocktail Kit, which includes a limited-edition bottle to crack open at home.

QT Hotels ‘Pup Yeah!’ Package

Man’s best friend deserves far better than a kennel. And from August 26th onwards (that’s International Dog Day for those playing at home), our furry four-legged companions will be able to enjoy the “ultimate indulgence” at QT Hotels across Australia and New Zealand.

Welcoming canine guests of all shapes and sizes, expect every pet-appointed room to be prepped for belly rubs, butler service, along with an uber comfortable CUB bed featuring orthopedic memory foam, and packs of premium pup brands.

NZ botanical grooming label smith&burton, for one, has partnered with QT to stock Soothing Cologne and Waterless Foam Shampoo. Hand-baked, human-grade treats have also been provided by Australia’s own St Argo. Though if we’re really talking about the “ultimate indulgence,” look no further than the in-room dining options like dog-digestible Steak Tartare and Bacon Ice Cream.

Each QT destination now comes with its own ‘Strut Your Pup’ digital map: a go-to for the best local walks, dog-friendly parks, cafés, as well as QT-approved photo ops. Select QT Hotels will even offer a personal “Director of Chaos,” on standby to whisk your dog away for walkies.

QT Hotels’ ‘Pup Yeah!’ rooms start from an additional $120 for three nights (bookable from August 26th, 2025).

Way Down South by Richard I’Anson

After a decade exploring both the dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, South Shetland, as well as the Falkland Islands, celebrated photographer Richard I’Anson has published an epic volume of imagery that’ll be the premium coffee table must-have of 2025.

High-quality stochastic printing, lay-flat binding for seamless two-page spreads, and all.

With 213 remarkably vivid images captured by the veteran talent himself – complemented by “evocative and thoughtful texts” from Greg Mortimer OAM and Howard Whelan (two of the world’s most experienced polar adventurers and expedition leaders) – this has been hailed as a breathtaking visual journey to some of the southern polar region’s most remote, beautiful, fragile, dynamic, and significant corners.

“Beyond his consistently beautiful compositions, that employ precision and understanding in their execution, Richard’s images reveal a reverential regard for our planet.”

Frames Magazine

“It’s for anyone who has been to Antarctica, would love to go to Antarctica, someone you’d like to encourage to go to Antarctica, or anybody who loves photography,” said Richard I’Anson.

While it’ll retail for $150, pre-orders placed by September 21st, 2025, will receive a signed copy of Way Down South for a discounted $112.50 (plus postage) come October 2025. But fair warning: it’s a proper tome. So don’t be surprised when all 3.82 kilos of it arrives on your doorstep.
