When Italian luxury watchmaker Panerai formed the Paneristi community two decades ago, they created a platform for fans around the world to come together over a shared appreciation for the brand’s characteristically big and bold timepieces.

Just as Panerai was carving out a storied comeback in the world of watchmaking, the Paneristi bolstered enthusiasm for the brand becoming a place for discussion, feedback and trading. To celebrate the passion that fuels such a following, Panerai has created a special, limited edition Radiomir Venti that acknowledges the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and rewards Paneristi’s loyalty.

The Radiomir Venti (PAM2020) is a close collaboration between Panerai’s technical and creative team and the Paneristi community, presenting a 45mm timepiece that draws heavily on nostalgia and takes cues from 1930s Panerai Radiomir models. References to the Radiomir’s history can be found in the gold sword-shaped hands, the colour of the lume and even the finishing of the brown sandwich sun-brushed dial, which features a ‘Paneristi.com 2000-2020’ engraving at six o’clock. The manually-wound Caliber P.6000 offers the wearer up 72 hours of power reserve.

Packaging for the model echoes the elegance and care the designers have taken for the vintage-inspired model, with each of the 1,020 pieces available coming in a beige calfskin suede strap with white stitching. As you can see from the photos, it’s an exquisite expression of Panerai’s history.

The special edition Radiomir Venti is available for roughly US$7,680 (approximately AU$10,867) with all details available through the Paneristi community.
