The Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador are home to some of the most spectacular animal and plant life, both above and below the sparkling surface of the Pacific Ocean. However, there’re few better spots to enjoy the biodiversity than the deck of the Grace motor yacht, operated by Quasar Expeditions for the trip of a lifetime.

As its name suggests, the Grace yacht was once owned by the legendary American actress Grace Kelly and her husband Prince Rainier III of Monaco, who received the vessel as a gift to celebrate their wedding in 1956. While it’s lived many lives since Kelly and her new husband first stepped foot on it, the elegant cruiser was acquired by Quasar Expeditions in 2007 where it has received a recent refit from the Chilean design studio Enrique Concha & Co that blends contemporary luxury with historical charm.

Available for charter for either eight or 15-day cruises around the remarkable islands, the Grace has a capacity for up to 16 guests to enjoy its expansive lounge areas and spa, a vantage point from which you can spot manta rays, dolphins, sea lions and much more. With cabins starting from US$8,500 per person, there’s honestly not a nicer way to enjoy these breathtaking Pacific islands.
