Taking on the Rockpool dining experience head-on, Black Hide by Gambaro is Brisbane’s own take on a luxe steak night. Situated just off the entrance to the treasury casino, the restaurant offers a wide selection of top-notch Wagyu and Angus steaks all with various stages of marbling to really whet the appetite. Paired with a nice wine and some enticing sides, you’re guaranteed to be salivating. 

Raise Your Glass on The Grass Lawn Party 

Looking for the perfect spot to set up a couple of sundowners? Pull up at the ultimate lawn party right on Queen’s Park every sunset. Tied into The Star’s partnership alongside Brisbane Festival, sit back on a deck chair and listen to a DJ set with glasses of Chandon plus schooners of Furphy on tap to unwind. Heating up every Friday in September, this a limited experience is a great introduction to the weekend. 

Chin Chin To Gin Pop-Up Bar

If you truly want to feel like a high roller, The Star’s king terrace suite up on the Gold Coast is an epic transition from the big city to the ocean. Located on the top 3 floors of the property, the suite opens onto a private terrace with enough room to host a small party. With sweeping views over the coast, it’s the best place to kick off your Saturday night.
