Ahead of his upcoming Shawn Carter Foundation Gala, rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z has gifted his VIP guests $50,000 Rolex timepieces as their ticket of entry to the ultra-exclusive event.

The watches in question, more specifically, are Everose Gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytonas, Reference 116505-0008. They are currently listed on Rolex.com for an RRP of AU$49,750. The timepiece appears to be the 40mm version that sports a striking dual-tone black and pink dial with a case and bracelet in everose gold.

Accompanying the watch was a bottle of Jay-Z’s own Ace of Spades Champagne label, both of which were documented on Instagram stories by attendees such as Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz.

The annual black-tie event to support the foundation is taking place between November 15th and 16th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Jay-Z established the charity in 2002 to support underprivileged young people access higher education and scholarships.

The Gala’s website confirms there’ll also be a blackjack tournament with a US$100,000 buy-in and US$500,000 prize, as well as a performance by 15-time Grammy winner, Alicia Keys.

The best part of this event is that for once, money can indeed buy you access to one of the year’s most exclusive parties. Package options, including the ‘High Rollers Package’, are still available for purchase, should you wish to rub shoulders with the likes of Hov himself.
