Bamford London is well-known for producing some of the most colourful and creative timepieces anywhere in the world, with an impressive range of cutting edge designs. The most recent launch from Bamford London was the B347 Monopusher Chronograph last August, and this month the new collection has been expanded with a new line of titanium models.

Founded by George Bamford, a man with equally limitless enthusiasm and eccentricity, Bamford London was originally formed as a more approachable arm of the luxury watch customisation workshop called Bamford Watch Department. While BWD offers a bespoke service to tinker with clients’ luxury watches, including the likes of Rolex and Audemars Piguet, Bamford London creates their own designs that are then manufactured by watchmakers in Switzerland.

The Bamford London B347 Monopusher Chronograph is a modern take on a traditional sports chronograph, with a dial that deploys a number of racing design cues and an angular case that is quintessential of the 1970s. While the original B347 Monopusher collection featured cases make from ultra-lightweight forged carbon, this new line is almost as featherweight on the wrist in sandblasted titanium. Available in six new colourways, there’s a lot to like about the new offering.

The titanium case measures 41.5mm in diameter and 14.5mm thick, which isn’t small, but thanks to its material, is likely to sit effortlessly on your wrist. The chronograph dial features just two subdials, with a date window at 6 o’clock and a single pusher to start, stop and reset the stopwatch mechanism beneath the dial.

Powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW510 MPa, the Bamford London B347 Monopusher Chronograph runs at 28,800pvh and has a power reserve of 62 hours. The watch is guaranteed to 100m of water resistance and arrives on a comfortable rubber strap secured with a pin buckle.

“The Bamford B347 has been an exciting next step for Bamford London and following the success of the forged carbon model, it felt like a natural progression to create a titanium case for the Bamford B347,” said George Bamford. “I love exploring materials and finding new colour combinations and I love the variety the Bamford Titanium B347 offers to our clients.”

The Bamford London B347 Monopusher Chronograph is currently available with an RRP of £2,083 (~AU$3,715).
