The 2026 Oscars have been and gone for another year, and even if you still need to watch front-runners like Sinners and One Battle After Another, you can still appreciate the watches that Hollywoodโ€™s A-listers brought to the red carpet this year.

From Michael B. Jordan cementing himself as a vintage watch aficionado to Hudson Williamsโ€™ surprising choice of Bulgari, there was some serious horological heat on display. Letโ€™s get into it.

Michael B. Jordan โ€“ Vintage Piaget Ref. 9297

Once again, Michael B. Jordan has shown heโ€™s the GOAT of vintage watches on the red carpet, wearing what appears to be a Piaget ref. 9297 from the 1970s. In January, at the Golden Globes, he wore a genuinely rare Patek Philippe ref. 1593 โ€œThe Hour Glassโ€ and last month at the BAFTAs, he was spotted with a charming Vacheron Constantin Prestige de la France on his wrist.

With the 2026 Oscars making it three in a row, this isnโ€™t an accident: heโ€™s either quietly become very interested in vintage watch collecting, or heโ€™s working with a dealer of vintage watches whoโ€™s giving him some great advice.

With Jordan taking home the biggest gong of the night, and Sinners setting a new record for the most Academy Award nominations in history, 2026 is looking bright for this burgeoning watch enthusiast.

Timothรฉe Chalamet โ€“ Urban Jรผrgensen UJ-2

Timothรฉe Chalamet knows when heโ€™s onto a good thing, which is why the Urban Jรผrgensen UJ-2 is the only watch heโ€™s been spotted wearing on the red carpet this year. Produced by a little-known Danish independent watchmaking brand, itโ€™s about as under-the-radar as beautifully made watches go in 2026.

Leonardo DiCaprio โ€“ Rolex 1908 Ref. 52506 In Platinum

At the Golden Globes and BAFTAs, DiCaprio was seen wearing the white-hot white gold Rolex Daytona โ€œLe Mansโ€ Ref. 126529LN, but for the Oscars (looking very good with a moustache), heโ€™s taken a slightly more formal approach to the red carpet.

On his wrist was a Rolex 1908 ref. 52506 in platinum, which is a watch I was fortunate enough to see up close when it was released at Watches & Wonders back in 2024 (following the collection debut in 2023).

Delroy Lindo โ€“ Vintage Omega Constellation Ref. 168.005/6 Pie Pan

Delroy Lindo - Vintage Omega Constellation Ref. 168.005/6 Pie Pan oscars watches

Delroy Lindo has taken a leaf out of Sinners co-star Michael B. Jordanโ€™s book for the Oscars this year, spotted wearing what appears to be a vintage Omega Constellation ref. 168.005/6 Pie Pan with a spectacular gold bracelet.

Itโ€™s a very tough one to confirm exactly, both given the number of different Omega references from that era and the lack of clear photos of it, so if you think itโ€™s something else, please let me know.

Kevin Oโ€™Leary โ€“ Cartier Crash โ€œBurgundyโ€ Skeleton & Rolex Daytona Ref. 126599TRU

Kevin O'Leary - Cartier Crash "Burgundy" Skeleton & Rolex Daytona Ref. 126599TRU

Kevin Oโ€™Leary is back at it, making an unmissable statement with two watches and a necklace featuring a rare โ€œLogomanโ€ basketball trading card (complete with game-worn jersey patches and autographs from Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant).

The watches in question are an ultra-rare โ€œoff catalogueโ€ Rolex Daytona Ref. 126599TRU and a skeletonised Cartier Crash in platinum, both of which are likely to be at least a million dollars or more on the secondary market.

Kieran Culkin โ€“ Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph King Gold

Kieran Culkin - Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph King Gold

Kieran Culkin was looking the part at the 2026 Oscars, spotted wearing a black and brown suit with a King Gold Hublot that very nicely paired with his jacket and lapel detail. Itโ€™s a solid watch on the wrist, but paired with a formal leather strap, it more than belongs in any formal setting.

Pedro Pascal โ€“ CHANEL BOYยทFRIEND

CHANEL BOYยทFRIEND

Cartier doesnโ€™t have a monopoly on rectangular watches, and if you needed proof, Chanelโ€™s BOYยทFRIEND in the large size looks like an absolute treat on the wrist of Pedro Pascal. Cased in beige gold, powered by a manually wound mechanical movement, and featuring a seconds subdial at 6 oโ€™clock, itโ€™s a winner from every angle.

Hudson Williams โ€“ Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas

Following the debut of Heated Rivalry, Hudson Williams became a superstar in 2026. His choice of watches for this yearโ€™s Academy Awards was a bit of a surprise (given itโ€™s generally marketed toward ladies), but he was spotted wearing a very chic Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas with a black dial and diamond bezel flanks.

Kumail Nanjiani โ€“ Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton

Kumail Nanjiani - Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton

Vacheron Constantin has released more than its fair share of remarkable watches in recent years, but the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton remains one of its very best. Spectacular in its complexity, while also being genuinely wearable thanks to its Overseas form factor, itโ€™s one of those rare watches you could show to anyone and leave them speechless.

Chris Evans โ€“ Chopard L.U.C. XPS

Chopard is a brand that doesnโ€™t often get the attention it deserves on the red carpet (especially when it comes to watches), but Chris Evans was flying the flag high with a rose gold Chopard L.U.C. XPS on his wrist. Powered by the ultra-thin COSC-certified automatic L.U.C 96.12-L calibre with 65 hours of power reserve, itโ€™s a sleeper hit in Chopardโ€™s catalogue.
