As we draw closer to Watches & Wonders 2023, watch brands from around the world are beginning to release their first new timepieces for the year and for German watchmaker Sinn, we see the T50 collection that’s as explores the robustness of new materials. The collection takes the brand’s cult-followed dive watch format and offers it in hardened titanium as well as the T50 GBDR with a bezel made from Goldbronze and the T50 GOLDBRONZE that’s entirely constructed from the debut alloy.

While the Sinn U50 that came before was made from submarine steel, this slightly more starkly designed T50 range arrives in a significantly more lightweight Grade 5 titanium, which Sinn has applied their Tegimented hardening process to so as to ensure scratches across the case and bracelet are less common. In contrast, the proprietary Goldbronze 125 (CuSn7Au12.5) alloy gives away that lightweight quality for a warmer tone on the wrist, as well as being purer in composition compared to other bronze alloys and more corrosion resistance to seawater.

All three models arrive with 41mm diameter cases that are 12.3mm thick, with the quintessential 4 o’clock crown, 500m of water resistance and your choice of either rubber, fabric or titanium bracelet (apart from the full Goldbronze reference). All three are powered by the reliable and affordably serviced automatic SW 300-1 movement with at least 42 hours of power reserve, with the T50 costing $5,550, the T50 GBDR priced at $6,250 and the 300-piece limited edition T50 GOLDBRONZE with an RRP of $8,050.
